Book nowThe wait is over! Welcome to the newly renovated Pier Bar , Local to Fairmount and the Art Museum Neighborhood of Philadelphia. Pier Bar is a contemporary Seafood Mediterranean restaurant. Inspired by local and European varieties of seafood our chefs focus on specialty seafood found throughout the Mediterranean and regions within the U.S. The light preparation of our cuisine highlights the natural and fresh flavors of each dish. Our renovated dining room at Pier Bar evokes a sense of style and sophistication in a comfortable and inviting setting. We also offer a fine bar with a large selection of wines and craft cocktails. We look forward to serving you!
Came here for happy hour and stayed for dinner. We were a group of 5 + a dog. The waitress checked in on us a few times before happy hour closed to make sure we were happy with our current orders. They had downeast on draft which is a huge plus!! The staff was very nice and the food came out hot. Will definitely be back; just hope it stays warm enough for us to continue to sit outside.
I have found my new happy hour spot. Amazing fresh seafood and drinks. This place should be packed. Everything was delicious and the amount of food they give you for HH is amazing. Great drink proves too.
An extension of Fare, Pier Bar is a great summery location for outdoor bites!! They have a great selection of seafood, including crab and mussels. Their beer selection also includes bottles and local drafts. We tried the King Crab legs, which are absolutely delicious. So fresh and full of meat, you definitely get your money's worth!
Good happy hour spot (M-F 5-7p) with a cute theme and lots of nice outdoor shaded seating. If you like the food at Fare, you'll like it across the street here too. Plenty of dogs and kids in addition to young couples. The happy hour prices are great and the people watching on this corner of Fairmount Ave is even better.
